WD Barrel Removal Tool

This is a barrel removal tool which you require to successfully remove a WD barrel from West Alloy locks. This tool is used to removed the barrel from the lock housing if you have lost your key and need to replace the barrel.

You will require access to the inside of the locker for you to be able to use this key to remove the barrel.

Please note; This removal key will only work on certain types of West Alloy locks, an example of a lock which it works with can be see on the related products.

Directions for use

1. Remove the inner housing of the lock to expose the lower tang of the barrel.
2. Put the removal tool onto the barrel tang making sure the tang lines up with the notches inside the removal tool.
3. Push the removal tool up the barrel to the housing of the lock, making sure all of the barrel locating flaps are on the sloped edge of the tool.
4. Gently apply pressure to the barrel which will then release the barrel from the housing.
