Thule's innovative SmartClamp system allows to to attach longitudinal roof bars without needing to drill into the vehicle roof.

The SmartClamps secure to the pre-existing mounting points on the roof of the van, with the base bars then being glued to the roof as well as securing the to SmartClamps themselves, allowing optional fitment of two or more Thule cross bars, as well as allowing optional fitment of a Thule Omnistor 6300 awning.

To allow fitment, there should not be anything fitted on the roof within 10cm of the inner edge of the roof guttering.

Available for the medium (L2), long (L3) and extra long (L4) wheelbase versions of the medium roof (H2) Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper produced from 2007 onwards, as well as the Vauxhall Movano produced after 2022.

Awning Compatibility

If you already have a Thule Omnistor 6300 awning fitted to your vehicle, or are planning to fit one at the same time as the SmartClamp System, you will need a slightly different version of the SmartClamp System depending on which length of vehicle you have, the product codes of which are shown below:
