DEMONSTRATIONS

Unlike many trailer tent dealers who find demonstrating their products impractical or simply too tiresome, at Camperlands we have a strict policy that encourages daily demonstrations of the latest trailer tent designs. Our undercover trailer tent display has a dedicated area, where demonstrations take place from January to October. We are able to demonstrate and explain the differences between Conway, Cabanon, SunnCamp, Trigano, TransCamper, CampMaster, Camp-let, Jamet and many more.

We are also able to demonstrate the vast majority of our second hand stock (some exceptions may apply).

PURCHASING

Whatever the retail value the procedure for purchasing a new or used trailer tent or folding camper is identical. A small deposit will secure the sale right up until the day of collection. After the deposit is paid we schedule a workshop Pre Delivery Inspection or P.D.I. as it's known, this puts the trailer tent or folding camper through a series of checks to ensure it is safe to use and is road worthy (terms and conditions apply to gas, electrics trailer and parts). It is worth noting that some dealers do not offer this service at all, let alone free without charge.

PURCHASE METHODS

We find the best and most common route for purchasing a trailer tent or folding camper is to visit our undercover and outdoor showground in Manchester first. There are also many family attractions in the local area including 2 or 3 impressive National Trust Stately Homes, so you're day doesn't have to end the moment you leave our showground. Once at Camperlands you will have the opportunity to speak to our sales advisors, see trailer tents being demonstrated and asses the pros and cons of the various brands and models available. If you decide to purchase (we won't take the wheel clamp off your car until you do) a deposit is all that is required until the day of collection and with over 90% of models in stock, this can be arranged in just a few days once a Pre Delivery Inspection has been completed.

We offer 3-months free storage from the date of your order but longer periods can be arranged. We find this 3-month period gives our customers time to arrange their finances, have a tow bar fitted or even clear out the garage ready for the new arrival. It is possible to order and collect a trailer the very same day. This is particularly useful for those who know what they want but will have to travel a substantial distance in order to reach us (please call 0161 998 8523/3467 for details, closed Wednesdays).

If you are unable to make a purchase decision while at our showground but then decide to order from the comfort of your home, all you need to do is call us with your credit or debit card details to secure your purchase with a deposit. We will send you a copy of your order and make arrangements for collection. It's important to remember that particularly during peak season periods, that used stock is turned around very quickly. This could mean that if you have decided to purchase a particular second hand unit after its original viewing, it may already have been sold. If you would like to pay a deposit by cheque please telephone to check that we still have your desired model in stock.

Sometimes our customers decide to purchase a trailer tent or folding camper without even visiting our store. This maybe because they have seen our products on the Internet or in a brochure and know what they want or have seen it elsewhere, perhaps at a retail show or another dealers showroom. If you know which model you want and would like to place your order with Camperlands please call us to confirm your order and place a deposit. A copy of your order will be sent to you and arrangements will be made for collection.

FINANCE

Competitive finance can be arranged at our premises, please ask a sales advisor for details. Finance may also be arranged via your own bank or other lender.

DAY OF COLLECTION

Unlike some dealers Camperlands provide a detailed demonstration of all new and used trailer tents and folding campers on the day of collection, absolutely free of charge. The purpose of the demonstration is to give the new owners a pre-holiday hands-on experience with their new purchase, while in the presence of an experienced user. During the demonstration, which can last up to 2-hours, customers will learn how to operate the trailer safely and have the opportunity to ask any questions that spring to mind. By the end of the demonstration a good understanding of the trailers operation will be gained and you will be left feeling confident about your recent purchase.

BUYING, SELLING AND PART EXCHANGE

We want your old trailer tents and folding campers to sell from our showground. If you no longer have a use for your old holiday unit why not sell it from our busy showground here in Manchester, speak to one of our sales advisors for details. We also take second hand units in part exchange against new and used stock.
