The latest advances in fabric technology
have gone into the development of our new Outtex
5000 fabric. A hydrostatic head of 5000 mm indicates
the amount of water that 1cm2
of tent fabric is able to withstand before water
penetrates the surface coating. With a hydrostatic
head of 5000 mm Outwell have taken the limits
of family camping to another level. The weather
is always critical in any camping holiday so Outwell's
Outtex 5000 will provide the most extreme protection
in all conditions.
As a polyester fabric the life expectancy is
always longer but Outwell have included an additional
UV protective coating ensuring the fabric has
an extended life and continuing superior performance
in all weather conditions. Outtex 5000 is fire
retardant to CPAI-84 Standards again providing
the optimum performance level available.
