1. THREE CLIFFS BAY, GOWER

Set on the edge of a village, this campsite is also a short walk from the lake from which the valley gets its original name. Open all year round this site costs just £3.50 for adults and £1.50 for children.
3. BRIGHOUSE BAY, DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY
Surrounded by 1,200 acres of great hiking countryside, Brighouse Bay is set in a quiet, secluded peninsula, and offers everything the average family would ever need, including a swimming pool, games room, ten-pin bowling, a playground, bar, bistro, function suite and great facilities for toddlers. Priced at just £11.90 for adults and £1.40 for children, and open from 18 April until the 31 October, this park offers everything for the go-getter.
4. Cornish Tipi Holidays, St Kew
Recently dubbed as the stylish way to camp, the tipi holiday has been gaining in popularity. Set in a woodland valley, around a spring-fed lake created from the old Tregildrans Quarry, this is a truly unique experience, but can be slightly more expensive with prices starting at £375 for a week-long break in low season.
5. Culzean Castle, Ayrshire, Scotland
Located within the grounds of a castle, this campsite offers something
a little bit different. Offering great views over the sea towards the Isle
of Arran, this site is ideal for both families and couples alike. Open
